Anger rest in the heart of a proud person.. Queen Abrahams

Sometimes our greatest enemy is ourselves...

Pride and ego can get in the way of making rational decisions.

A proud person if not careful with his or her anger will fall along the way..the higher they climb, the heavier they fall.

The proud person always wants to do the right thing, the great thing. But because he wants to do it in his own strength, he is fighting not with man, but with God and he can never win..

The proud wish God would agree with them. They are not interested in changing their opinions to agree with God's and God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble..

Pride will make a person loose his/her dignity..

Pride will make a person think too highly of his/her self and if they are not accepted or regconized they becomes bitterly angry and destroys everything.

Most of the trouble in the world is caused by people wanting to be important..and that's selfishness.

Proud people breed sad sorrows for others..

Pride alters communication and connection. When you put yourself on a pedestal, it makes it difficult for anyone to get close to you. Your ability to be vulnerable, which is the primary way we show trust to each other, will be compromised. Pride and vulnerability can't coexist.

Excessive pride diminishes self-awareness. Like an arrogant leader who's always exaggerating his achievements to denigrate his rivals. Excessive pride is an exaggerated appreciation of oneself by devaluating others — we turn other people into our competitors.

Someone who's prideful is arrogant and disdainful. Prideful people don't usually have many friends, since they think they're superior to everyone else..

Note: As a strength, pride is a good, positive emotion to feel..but If you let a spirit of competition enter it, it will become your greatest weakness..

Pride must die in you, or nothing of Heaven can live in you..
